I have been in the social service field for over 12 years and have been providing counseling, case management, and therapeutic services for over 8 years. I earned a Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Loyola Marymount University with a specialization in Multicultural Counseling. I also earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Professional Counseling from Amridge University and hold a License in Professional Clinical Counseling (LPCC).
I have a special interest in working with individuals and families who have experienced domestic violence, trauma, abuse, and/or neglect. I have training and certification in domestic violence counseling and was a domestic violence counselor for over 3 years. I specialize in relationship and support building, skill building, and assisting with access to resources.
In addition, I have experience working with individuals, couples, families, and populations of all ages addressing issues such as anxiety, stress management, anger management, depression, relationship and family issues, coping skills, and goal setting. I am excited to continue helping people meet their goals.
