Hello, I’m Valerie! I am a registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC 13110), supervised by Sarah Cable, MSW, LCSW, License Number LCSW95644. I am dedicated to fostering healing, growth, and resilience in my clients. I received my Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling at Colorado Christian University, as well as my Bachelor’s degree in Communicative Disorders at California State University, Fullerton. 

I have worked with children and adolescents in intensive outpatient settings experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, ADHD, and autism, assisting them in finding effective ways to regulate their emotions, manage interpersonal conflict, improve emotional awareness, and increase self-esteem, using client-centered, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and behavioral modification approaches. I have also worked with families to provide support in helping their child/teen in managing these symptoms in the home and school settings.
