Sunny Yoon

Hello, I’m Sunny. I am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT 153991), supervised by Celene Puig, LMFT 143036. I am dedicated to providing compassionate, culturally responsive, and collaborative care to individuals, couples, and families.

I hold a Master of Science in Counseling from National University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside. My clinical experience includes providing therapy in community-based and educational settings, supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, relationships, life transitions, and other emotional and interpersonal challenges.

My approach to therapy draws from person-centered, cognitive behavioral, solution-focused, and acceptance-based approaches. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process and strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. I meet each client where they are and work alongside them to better understand their experiences, build on their strengths, develop effective coping skills, and move toward meaningful change.

I am committed to approaching each client with curiosity, empathy, and cultural humility, recognizing that every person’s experiences and journey are unique.
