My name is Brittany Altuna, and I am a Registered Associate Social Worker (ASW124275) supervised by Sara Jackson, LPC. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Los Angeles, and my Master of Social Work from California State University, San Bernardino. I have over two years of post-graduate clinical experience providing support in community-based settings with children, adolescents, young adults, older adults, parents, couples, and families. I have experience helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, life transitions, post-traumatic stress, and parent-child relationship challenges.
My therapeutic approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs and goals. I draw from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Strengths-Based practices to help clients build insight, develop coping skills, and create meaningful change.
I strive to create a welcoming, supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout their healing journey. My hope is to support you in building resilience, fostering self-compassion, and moving toward a more balanced, fulfilling life.
